The California Native American Heritage Commission (NAHC) was humbled and proud to receive the ‘Tribute Award’ from the 7th Annual Red Nation Film Festival November 9, 2010 in recognition of the importance of protecting Native American cultural resources. Following the announcement, the NAHC received compliments from Kumeyaay, Paiute and Pomo tribes and a special thank you from Preston J. Arrow-weed, Quechan/Fort Yuma Elder and actor.
