Sage Galesi –Born Jicarilla and Mescalero Apache, Spanish-Sephardic and Italian lineal descendant, she holds familial ties to the Ohkay Owingeh, Lakota, Pawnee, Pojoaque, Diné, Paiute, Southern Ute, Haudenosaunee, Mescalero Apache, and Lakota Nations. Sage’s grandfather was born on the Jicarilla Reservation and her great-great-grandma from her mother’s father side was born on the Mescalero reservation. Sage a former board member of Red Nation Celebration Institute, held for 14 yrs. Sage is a Graduate of Yale University 2008. A mother of three. Sage, daughter of Joanelle Romero.

She is known as an actress and singer/writer.

Infected by a boyfriend in 1988, in her hometown of Muskogee, Oklahoma,
she went from HIV to AIDS in 1999. Lisa has won numerous awards for her
work as an AIDS educator. For over a decade Lisa has dedicated her life to
raising abandoned and abused children.
